3 Quick Apply Full-time 2 days ago Full Job Description Job Description Provides overall supervision of MP&L employees including warehouse, shipping, receiving, material handling and scheduling employees:
Detailed knowledge of both capturing and creating/improving Key Performance Indicators.
Pro-actively applies lean and other processes and technologies to meet department and plant production goals; increase efficiencies and reduce operating costs.
Pro-actively investigates, learns, prepares and implements solutions to inventory, delivery, cost and quality issues.
Manages and achieves inventory goals and values, maintains accurate inventories Reviews and interprets releases and communicates to production management Ensures production materials arrive on time to meet production schedules Ensures daily production schedules are met Manages supplier issues relating to the quality of incoming goods Provides forecasts to suppliers to ensure the right mix of inventory is on- hand when needed.
Develops strong communication links with customers relating to shipping requirements including containers, cardboard, quantities and timing.
Ensures the warehouse layout is organized, with an emphasis on visual management.
Availability Must be available to work scheduled shift Monday-Friday Must be available to work occasional mandatory Saturdays Performance Employee must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education and/or Experience - Preferred Bachelor's degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or related field or equivalent experience, experience in an Automotive manufacturing environment working with and supporting OEMs/Tier1 suppliers; experience in plastic and chrome- plated decorative trim product beneficial.
Leadership Skills - 5 years Supervisory and Department Management Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, an individual should have familiarity with MRP/ERP software, EDI, OEM communication tools and all Microsoft applications.
