Maintenance Technician
A Leading Automotive Supplier in the Howell, Michigan area needs 2nd & 3rd Shift Machine Repair / Maintenance Technician's. These are Full Time, Permanent, Direct Hire Positions offering Competitive Compensation, Off Shift Premium, Good Benefits, Paid Holiday and Paid Vacation. Key Areas of Responsibility:
o Perform emergency repairs of machine and equipment during production. o Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) on machine/equipment. o Perform work on new machine/equipment. o Provide support in supplying quality parts for customers. o Required paper work to be filled out and submitted in a timely manner. o Training on new types of equipment used for production and maintaining equipment. Minimum Requirements:
o High School Diploma or GED. o 3 - 5 years' manufacturing experience with full range of operations, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics and machine maintenance. o Knowledge skills and abilities in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical principle, systems, troubleshooting and repair:
robotics, PLC and assisted automation, mechanical handling systems, maintenance and repair. Help troubleshoot and repair equipment Help troubleshoot and repair equipment Perform repairs on field equipment repairs Providing high quality repair service on equipment Perform repair and maintenance tasks Recognize equipment that need repair Obtain repair and maintenance instructions Perform minor or routine maintenance or repair Replace or repair worn parts Locate and repair defective parts Maintain and order repair parts Diagnose and repair all refrigeration equipment Provide electrical service and/or repair to customer units Perform building repair and maintenance activities Dismantle equipment/machines and make proper repair Discuss repair, maintenance and applications of equipment Maintain appropriate maintenance and repair logs Handle routine repair and maintenance of plumbing and electrical systems Troubleshoot and repair all capital equipment Disassemble fire protection equipment to repair and maintain systems, and replace or repair defective parts Recommended Skills Assembling Hydraulics Installations (Manual/Mechanical) Machinery Preventive Maintenance Test Equipment Apply to this job.
