Salary $85,000 - $95,000
The Cost Estimator is responsible for developing and coordinating accurate product cost estimates.The Cost Estimator's responsibilities within these categories are described as follows:
Create and maintain cost structure database for all processes used in quotes to customers (i.e. ABC Costing)
Review information developed by engineering department for customer quotations, including materials processes and design intent of requested quotations.
Compile information to develop internal cost cards
Utilize cost cards to develop quote capital analysis.
Transfer data to customer specific.
Accurately prepare all quotations and response documents to customers following TS16949 requirements.
Represent the Howell plant at all quote reviews.
Prepare and maintain new program financing structure for the Howell plant.
All other duties as assigned.

Education/Special Knowledge/Skills - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field. Ability to manage confidential information. Good communication and listening skills. Proficient with Excel, Word, and/or related PC applications. Detail oriented.

Experience -3-5 years of cost estimating in automotive manufacturing (interior trim products a plus)

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
